About Turnpike

The Turnpike Basketball Club provides community-based youth basketball programs for boys and girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade in the vicinity of Little River Turnpike in Fairfax and Annandale, Virginia. Our objective is to teach and develop basketball skills, good sportsmanship and an appreciation of the game of basketball through programs designed for the enjoyment of our youth and their families.

The Club operates as a non-profit organization that is funded through the support of the community in the form of registration fees and donations. It is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer / Secretary, Girl's League Commissioner, two Boy's League Commissioners, and an Officials Coordinator. The Board meets year-round on a regular basis and oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Club. Countless volunteers assist in the successful operation of the Club including our Gameday Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Uniform Manager, coaches and many others. Without the help of our volunteers, the Club could not exist.

We are proud that we have provided our players with competitive recreational and decorated travel programs within a supportive, family atmosphere for over 50 years, and we hope you join us!
